Moulton, Code 533.3G 207-438-2567 Item 0001 -- Rental of 150 HP Steam Boiler consisting of the following: Estimated qty is 52 weeks. A. 30 Foot (maximum) enclosed trailer with overhead and access doors and combustion air louver. B. 150 HP (minimum) rated @150 PSI working pressure, #2 oil fired. All safety controls, including pressuretrols and safety valves to operate the boiler up to 150 PSI steam Service. C. #2 Fule Oil storage tank sufficient to run the boiler for twenty-four(24) hours. D. Boiler feed tanks with boiler feed pump and cold water makeup float valve assembly. E. Steam operated boiler feed tank preheater. F. Stub stack. G. Two (2) 1 1/2" NPT valved (shut-off) steam supply connection. H. 75' electrical supply cord (240/480 volt 3 phase) I. Lighting supply cord (110) volt. J. Electric unit heater back-up heat source to prevent trailer from freezing while boiler is not in service. K. Chemical feed system. L. Valid operating certificate and registration in State of operation. Must meet all ASME and OSH safety standards forpower piping systems. M. All controls and instrumentation shall be permanently mounted. N. Contractor shall provide all filters and lubricant(s) for duration of the rental period. O. Contractor shall be responsible for all routine maintenance, i.e. change oil, filters, etc. Daily liquid check is the responsiblity of on-site personnel. P. The above components are to be piped or wired, ready for operation as soon as 'single point' field connections are made. Equipment shall be delivered in first class operating conditions with complete operating instructions. Service shall be provided within 24 hours after notification by Contracting Officer or his representative in the event the machine cannot be returned to service with 48 hours notification, a replacement shall be delivered at no charge to the Government.
