Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, materials and transportation to construct the Moblile Ground Station Maintenance Complex, Greeley Air National Guard Station, Greeley, Colorado, Project Number JMAX959639. Project shall consist of construction of a Vehicle Maintenance Building of approximately 19,500 square feet; an Entry Control Building of approximately 500 square feet; complete site development of a tract approximately eleven (11) acres, consisting of, but not necessarily limited to grading and drainage, asphaltic and concrete pavements, utilities, landscaping, site lighting, security fencing, intrusion detection system and other appurtenances delineated in the contract documents. There will be a base bid plus three (3) bid additives which may or may not be awarded depending on the funds available. The estimated bid opening date is May 14, 1998. The estimated construction period is 365 days with estimated construction completion of July 15, 1999. Estimated cost of construction isbetween $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. Solicitations will be available approximately April 14, 1998. The solicitation package will be limited to one set per bidder, and will be issued on a first come, first serve basis, until dupplu is exhausted. Requests for bid documents shall be writing and be accompanied by a non-refundable check for $135.00 for a specification copy with full-size plans or $110.00 for a specification copy with half-size plans. Make check payable to the U.S. Department of Treasury. Telephone requests will not be accepted. The potential bidder shall provide a street address and not a post office box. Copies of the solicitation will be distributed to various Plans Rooms throughout Colorado. The approximate date for the site visit will be April 29,1998 (the actual date will be included in the solicitation package.) For informational purposes only, the applicable Standard Industry Code (SIC) is 1542 . This solicitation is UNRESTRICTED; however, small, woman-owned, and small disadvantaged businesses (SDBs) are encouraged to participate. An evaluation preference for SDB concerns may be applied.
