Facility features masonry exterior, built-up bituminous roofing with asphalt and concrete paving. The contractor will be responsible for the moving of a 30-inch culvert and an 8-inch sewer line that runs the length of the property plus removal of three building foundations, in accordance with plans and specifications. The site is located on the east side of Military Road north of Timberlane in Benton, AR. Estimated cost range is $2,800,000 to $3,000,000 and construction time is 300 calendar days. Successful offeror must submit their Subcontracting Plan for Small and Minority-Owned and Woman-Owned Business initially and thereafter with their progress payment requests. The contractor must subcontract with minority business firms in an amount aggregating not less than 10% of the total value of its subcontracts. A 20% proposal bond is required on all proposals. The successful contractor will be required to provide 100% Performance and 50% Payment Bonds within forty-eight (48) hours after notification of award. Offers will be received in this office, prior to, but not later than 3:30 pm on February 19, 1998. Proposal documents, plans and specifications will be available on January 19, 1998 at a cost of $100.00 per set (NON-REFUNDABLE) payable by check or money order only.
