The Federal Aviation Administration has a requirement for flood recovery work to perform repairs on various buildings at the McClellan AFB, Rio Linda, California. This procurement is in conjunction with the Performance Based Studies Research Group (PBSRG) at Arizona State University (ASU) and will be utilizing a Quialified Vendors List (QVL) of high performance contractors. This QVL will be utilized to award Value Based Contracts (past performance, proposed construction, completeness of the proposal and price as the evaluation factors). Work includes but is not limited to: roofing, painting, carpet installation and lead abatement. Estimated price range is between $100K to $250K. A PRE-BID MEETING will be held on THURSDAY, JANUARY 22, 1998 at 10:00 a.m. -- 12:00 p.m. at the following location: McClellan AFB, 5829 22nd St., Rio Linda, California. This is a MANDATORY meeting for all contractors who wish to participate in flood recovery restoration/renovation of FAA facilities in the Western-Pacific Region. You will not be able to bid on the above project if you do not attend this meeting. A PERFORMANCE REGISTRY MEETING will be held prior to the Pre-Bid Meeting at 9:00 a.m. The objective of the registry meeting are: (1) to develop performance criteria in different specialities and trades and enroll new contractors in the Value Based Program.
