Indefinite Quantity Construction Contract for Asbestos and Lead Abatement services at USPS facilities in the Western Area (excluding the State of Montana). Term of the contract will be for two years and individual contracts will be issued for each state. Initial contract value of the contract(s) will be $250,000.00, and the Postal Service reserves the option to increase the potential value of the contract(s) in increments of $250,000.00. Additional consent of surety will be required for each incremental increase. Offerors will be required to submit a multiplier that will apply equally to all unit line items. Work may be performed in any USPS owned or leased facility in Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. Offeror may propose on one or more of these states. Award(s) will be made to responsible Offeror(s) whose proposal offers the best value to the Postal Service. Factors to be considered in the evaluation of offers for award are: project experience,personnel experience, management plan, resources and the ability to mobilize within each state proposed. Solicitation packages will be available on or about February 2, 1998.
