Five-Axis Flight Motion Simulator, with control console, to be used at a performance grade hardware-in-the-loop simulation/test facility for performing test and evaluation of all-up-round IR guided missile systems. The flight motion simulator will provide the relative flight orientation and angular motion between the missile and its associated target during simulated flight engagements representing numerous tactical and environmental scenarios. The contractor shall also provide installation and acceptance testing support services, including operation and maintenance training at Test Area 10, Redstone Technical Test Center, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. Delivery shall be eighteen months after contract award. Carco Electronics is the only source available which can provide compatibility and traceability of test data with existing government test systems and which would require only limited validation testing.
