Refrigerated Produce Handling Services, Produce Buying Office, Fort Worth. Offeror shall provide the facility, equipment, supervision, and personnel to receive, handle, sort, stage, hold, account for and deliver Government owned Fresh Fruit and Vegetables in the Fort Worth, Texas mission area. The offeror must be capable of complying with the Governments service requirements and be familar with delivery and distribution techniques. The offeror shall provide office space for on-site Government personnel, security and custodial services for areas occupied by said personnel and product. The base year contract will run from 01 October 1998 through 30 September 1999. Possible contract renewal for one year option period will be included in the solicitation. This procurement will be unrestricted -- small and large businesses may offer. Best Value/Source Selection mehtodology will be used in the selection of awardee.
