The objectives of this effort are to develop a smart 120mm munition for the Abrams tank and demonstrate key technologies that will enable high value target engagements beyond the current line of sight range of 3-4km. All activities are aimed at performing a Technology Demonstration in Fiscal Year (FY) 2002 and provide all necessary efforts for TERM to enter into an Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) Phase.
