U.S. EPA Air Pollution Technology Branch (APTB) located in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina has a requirement for a single unit, multi-gas analyzer which will be used to simultaneously determine the concentrations of multiple pollutants in a combustion gas stream. APTB conducts in-house research investigating and characterizing air pollution emissions from industrial sources, especially combustion sources. Since many of these sources contain halogenated pollutants, it is necessary that APTB have the capability of simultaneously and accurately measuring on-line concentrations of multiple pollutants, including HCl, SO2, O2, CO, CO2, H2O, Nox, CH4, and NH3 with a single instrument that can be conveniently moved from source to source within APTB laboratories and in remote locations, such as stack catwalks and field sites. Installation, training, warranty, and on-site servicing will be included in the acquisition. It is anticipated that RFQs will be issued on or about 01/30/98.
