C -- DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA PUBLIC SCHOOLS FY98 BOILER/HVAC UPGRADE PROJECT SOL DCPS-98002-OC DUE 012698 POC Jon Peterson, Contracting Officer; Paul Ross, Contract Specialist (202) 727-2495 District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS), Office of Acquisitions and Contract Management (OACM), has three urgent requirements denominated, Packages "A", "B" and "C", for Architect-Engineer (A-E) services to prepare scopes of work for the replacement of boilers and chillers and upgrade distribution and control systems for various Washington, D.C. public schools. Package "A" consists of a design requirement for 5 Washington, D.C. public schools. Packages "B" and "C" require A-E services to prepare scopes of work and provide design development and construction management services for mechanical upgrade projects at 8 and 4 Washington, D.C. public schools, respectively. Qualified A-E firms are invited to submit completed SF 254, "Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionaire" and SF 255, "Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionaire for Specfic Project" for packages "A", "B" and/or "C." Responses should be submitted to the Office of Acquisitions and Contract Management, DCPS, 415 12th Street, N.W., Suite 807, Washington, D.C., 20004-1994. Responses must be received NLT 4:00 p.m., EST, 012698. Selection will be based upon the following evaluation criteria: 1. Specialized experience and technical competence in providing services required; 2. Specific experience and qualifications of personnel proposed for assignment to the project; 3. Professional capacity of the firm in the local area to perform the work within time limitations; 4. Past record of acceptable performance on contracts with DCPS or other comparable agencies; and, 5. Geographic location and facilities of the firm's office(s) providing the services. (0015)
