The Indian Health Service (IHS) is soliciting proposals from interested physicians located in Arizona, California, Nevada and Utah to provide physician services in the field of general medicine, surgery, pediatrics, orthopedics, rehabilitation, neurology, dental, neonatal and perinatal care, cancer irradiation, radium therapy, diagnostic, radioscope, physical therapy, hemodialysis and occupational therapy to eligible Indian beneficiaries referred by the IHS Area Offices of Phoenix, Window Rock and Tucson, AZ and Albuquerque, NM. Such care shall include outpatient, inpatient and all supporting services and facilities normally part of such care. Contract awards will be made to these physicians who agree to accept payment in full reimbursement at rates no higher than the prevailing Medicare allowable rates (including deductibles and co-payment). Closing date for receipt of proposals is continuous to December 31, 1998. Multiple awards will be made for a twelve-month period, with 4-one year options.
