V -- AIR TERMINAL AND GROUND HANDLING SERVICES FOR AIR MOBILITY EXPRESS-COMMERCIAL SOL F11626-98-R-0005 DUE 040998 POC Ellen Green, (618) 256-6454 V -- AIR MOBILITY EXPRESS -- COMMERCIAL (AMX-C) is to provide Air Terminal and Ground Handling Services for the Air Mobility Command in support of the Department of Defense (DoD) during national contingencies. The contractor shall receive and consolidate critical cargo from throughout the United States and ensure the cargo is loaded on aircraft going to the Area of Responsibility (AOR) within 24 hours. The contractor shall provide overnight retrograde cargo services, and aircraft servicing. The contractor shall provide all personnel, tools, supervision, facilities, equipment, and materials handling equipment (MHE) to perform AMX-C operations. The contractor shall participate in an annual exercise as designated by AMC to test its capability. The exercise will vary (13-26, 463L pallet positions). The contract period of performance is from 01 Oct 98 or subsequent date of award with four one-year options. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. (0015)
