Y -- WQIC CHEMICAL DRAINAGE SUMP SOL 1425-98-SQ-34-00140 POC Myra Cordero, Contracting Officer, 520-343-8134 The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement for labor, materials, and equipment and necessary incidentals to abandon in place the existing Water Quality Improvement Center (WQIC) chemical drain tank in place, including filling the tank with sand; cut and dispose of designated connecting piping; disconnect and salvage the existing drain tank pump and motor; remove and dispose of the indicated concrete slab; construct a new concrete drainage sump, grating, drain lines, associated piping extensions, electrical conduit; required excavation for piping and sump construction; and backfill and compaction of utility trenches and around new concrete sump. The work is located at the Yuma Desalting Plant, approximately 4 miles west of Yuma, Arizona, in Yuma County. The performance time for completion of this project is 90 days. Copies of this Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be available on or about February 2, 1998. The proposed project is a 100-percent small business set-aside. The small business size standard is $17.0 million and the deadline date for receipt of bids is February 17, 1998.
