36 -- PARTS & SERVICES FOR THE PPG400 CRYOGENERATOR (HELIUM) ENGINE SOL N68335-98-Q-0065 DUE 012998 POC Alice Hugus (732) 323-2971 The requirement is for the overhaul and replacement of parts for the PPG400 Cryogenerator (Helium) Engine currently utilized in the LOX-30 and PLN-430 generating plants located at NAS Keflavic, NAS Signella and MCAS Iwakuni. Delivery FOB Destination 30 days after date of contract. The parts list of 60 items includes, one (1) ea Shaft Seal Assy, P/N 5322 462 50393, one (1) ea Cylinder Liner, P/N 5322-360-40053, two (2) ea Main Bearings, P/N 5322-520-10029, four (4) ea Guide Bushings, P/N/ 5322-520-30104, four (4) ea Displacer Rods, P/N 5322-535-74394, two (2) ea Main Bearings and a variety of "O" Rings, and Diaphragms of assorted Stirling P/Ns. Intent is to limit acquisition to Stirling Cryogenics and Refrigeration BV. The proposed acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not own specifications or drawings to permit full and open competition. Firms that can recognize and produce the required items described are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct an open competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
