This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. The solicitation number is F04700- 97-T-6074. This is request for quotation (RFQ). This acquisition is 100% Small Business set aside. Standard industrial classification code: 7389. Small Business Size Standard:$5 Million. This acquisition is for nonpersonal services. Contractor is to provide the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision and other services necessary for Medical Gas System building 5500 and 5513 at Edwards AFB CA. Services to provide preventative repair, testing and certification four times a year. Contractor shall provide a valid inspection license and be certified to maintain the Medical Gas System and components. Maintenance of the Medical Gas system will be in accordance with National Fire Codes and Standards, applicable Building Codes and Standards, recommended practices, manuals, Guides and manufacturer's recommendation methods. Contractor shall furnish copies of all applicable licenses and appropriated training documentation with quotation. Contractor shall have all applicable permits and insurance, to perform remedial maintenance, repairs and testing of the system. Services shall provide reliability of the system and documentation of services performed for accreditation of the hospital in accordance with the Joint Commission on Accreditation of heal Care Organization (JCAHO), the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), United States Pharmacopeial Convention (USP/NF) and Certification Gas Association (CGA).
