99 -- SLBM LAUNCHER AND ASSOCIATED SSBN DISMANTLEMENT IN RUSSIA POC Michael O. Jackson, Negotiator, (703) 325-9211, Edward Archer, Contracting Officer, (703) 325-5028 The Defense Special Weapons Agency (DSWA) plans to award this effort as a sole source contract to the Zvezdochka State Machine Building Enterprise. The objective of this effort is to provide the necessary equipment, logistics, operations, maintenance, management, and additional infrastructure to conduct elimination of one Russian SSBN containing SLBM launchers at the START designated SLBM launcher elimination facility "Zvezdochka State Machine Building Enterprise" at Severodvinsk. This project will accomplish the dismantlement of a Delta (Yankee) class SSBN to include off loading and shipping the nuclear fuel to the spent fuel storage site at Mayak.
