It is the Goverment's intent to acquire on a sole source basis from Mevatec Corporation engineering services/program management support for the analysis of testing requirments of weapon systems users of the Soldier's Portable On-System Repair Tool (SPORT), investigation of new testing technologies and their application to on and off system testing, and evaluation of alternatives to meet technical requirement of automatic test equipment. This sole source action will allow a bridge to the new follow-on 8(a) set-aside currently in process. The period of performance for this requirement is date of award through 31 March 1998.
