Work will require dredging to depth of 13 feet or greater over channel widths of up to 200 feet with greater width at certain locations, and pumping of material to disposal areas over distances as great as 8500 feet and lifts up to 70 feet. The character of the material may range from fine silts to heavy sands and clays. The contract will be restricted to 20, 22 & 24 inch discharge diameter dredges with minimum horsepower of 2100, and 2400 respectively. Optional items are included. Bid documents are available on or about 9 February 1998. Estimated cost of work is between $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. Critical Path Method (Network Analysis System) is not required. For this job, a small business is defined as having average annual receipts of less than $13,500,000.00 for the past three years.
