The work includes a new Base Civil Engineering Complex and renovation of the existing BCE Building for the Communications Squadron. Construction will occur in three phases. Phase One is the clearing, grubbing and surcharge of the new BCE and Storage Building Site. The second phase includes the construction of the new BCE Complex which is comprised of the main BCE Building and the Storage Building. The third phase includes the renovation of Building 149 for the Communications Squadron. This will occur after the BCE move out of Building 149 and occupy their new facility. Extensive demolition both inside and outside of Building 149 will occur, along with requirement for asbestos abatement. The work includes mechanical, electrical, communications, plumbing and fire protection systems and incidental related work.
