Provide on-call, on-site maintenance, 24 hours a day, 5 days a week, Monday thru Friday with a 2 hour on-site response time and preventive maintenance on the basis of every 1,000,000 pages printed. Provide an inclusive hourly rate to provide maintenance on Saturdays, Sundays and Federal Holidays when required. At no time will the equipment be down for longer than 8 consecutive hours. Serial numbers are Xerox 4135 LPS S/N 6D5003640; Roll Feeder-Laser Sheeter -- S/N 9077 P/M 80083-57. The system includes on-line control module, off line control module, graphic video controller, w/32MB memory, media conversion kit -- 5.25 floppy user interface mouse tray, pentium processor bypass transport, peripheral cabinet, 128 font memory, BUS and Tag cable, input enablement kit. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation to be provided. A written solicitation will not be issued and any requests for a solicitation package will not be acknowledged. This synopsis shall serve as Request for Quotations PSMD-98-C-02 which seeks written proposals for the type of maintenance outlined herein. Proposals will be accepted until close of business February 9, 1998. This acquisition will be processed using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Proposals received in response to this notice will be considered for award to the responsible offeror submitting the lowest overall cost to the Government. Questions relating to this notice shall be submitted in writing no later than January 27, 1998 and sent via facsimile.
