The U.S. Coast Guard, MLCP, located in Alameda, CA., proposes to contract for dockside repairs on USCGC HAMILTON, a 378' high endurance cutter, located on Terminal Island in San Pedro, CA. All work will be performed during the period of 4 May through 19 Jun 1998 (7 weeks) at the cutter's home moorage in San Pedro, CA. Work items include; Port deck stack renewal, turbine inlet screen renewal, heat exchanger overhaul, auxiliary salt water piping system cleaning and inspection, elctric motor overhaul, evaporator seawater strainer renewal, fire pump renewal and valve overhaul, CWIS cooling system piping renewal & strainer overhaul, shaft seal duplex strainer relocations, shore steam connection, hydraulic pump overhaul, Motor Surf Boat Davit biennial overhaul, dirty oil tank pipe removal, sewage and grey water tank preservation and laundry room insulation.
