The Indian Health Service (IHS) intends to award a sole source simplified acquisition purchase order to National Ground Water Association, Westerville, Ohio, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible and No Other Supplier can Satisfy the Ageny Requirement. The proposed vendor will provide basic training in the areas of ground water and water well construction for IHS and tribal technical and professional staff. Specialized training is needed in the technical field of ground water development and well construction in a didatic setting to train engineers and technicians. Ground water wells are sanitation facilities provided under Public Law 86-121 to tribes and are designed and constructed by the training participants. This course will include complete demonstration of well construction by air and mud rotary methods. Demonstration will be conducted at a site away from the classroom facility. This procurement is a SOLE SOURCE and NO solicitation is available, therefore, requests for such documents will be considered invalid responses. Anticipated award date is 02/10/98.
