Work to include new exterior blower/housing, plenum, filter frames, damper and louvers, heaters, switches, air pressure alarm and other components according to specifications; replace all underground and internal ducting with new corrosion-resistant ducting, replace and install new equipment for easy maintenance; replace electrical wiring between motor and blower, install duct smoke detector and connect to existing fire alarm system; and paint all new/existing metal as required. Lead-based paint has been identified. Period of performance is 120 calendar days after Notice to Proceed is issued. Solicitation issue date of 11 Feb 98 and bid opening date of 12 Mar 98 are tentative. The applicable SIC code and size standard for this acquisition are 1711/$7M. The estimatedrange of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The solicitation is unrestricted.
