The Work includes the removal of existing built-up roofing system, including insulation, installation of a new EPDM roofing system, polyisocyanurate insulation, all mechanical fasteners and new coping/fascia as well as the removal and reinstalltion of exisiting rooftop mechanical equipment and incidental related work. The solicitaton will be issued FEB 11, 1998. The Bid Opening Date will be MAR 16 1998. The Sic Code is 1761. The estimated cost range is $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The proposed contract is subject to the evaluation criteria set forth in DFAR 252.219-7008, Notice of Evaluation Preference for Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns, Construction Acquisition Test Program (APR 1996). There is a NON-REFUNDABLE charge for Plans and Specifications. Offerors interested in obtaining plans and specifications for this project must submit their request along with a Certified Check, Cashiers Check, Money Order or VISA in the amount of $31.00 to : DEFENSE AUTOMATED PRINTING SERVICE (DAPS), 47 CHANDLER STREET, NEWPORT RI 02841-1712. Each check must be made paybale to the US Treasury and annoated with the applicable solicitation number. One set of plans and speciifcations will be sent via First Class mail. Any check received without a solicitation number or not made out to the US Treasury will be returned unprocessed. No CASH, COMPANY or PERSONAL CHECKS will be accepted.
