The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is soliciting sources to meet a requirement for procuring hotel/training sites for the Division of Human Resource Development training within the continental U.S. Minimum requirements for the hotel/training facilities are as follows: (1) be close (within 1 hr) to a major airport or the FDA district/regional office; (2) have adequate space available year round at the Government per diem rate; (3) accept payment by Government purchase order or Government credit card; (4) be handicapped accessible; (5) have fax and copier accessibility at a minimal charge; (6) have fitness/pool and restaurant facilities on premises, and (7) have shuttle service available . The conference rooms shall: (1) be a minimum of 2500 sq. ft. and accommodate a variety of room set-ups; (2) have -- (a) at least 3 breakout rooms of 600 sq. ft. each, (b) 2500 sq. ft. for computer labs, (c) supply area, and (d) separate area for AM and PM breaks; (3) be sound proof and have lighting and temperature control; (4) have telephone/data ports for lap tops with adequate amp & power, down linking/distance learning capability, and (5) have AV equipment/technician on site. The sleeping rooms (both smoking and nonsmoking) must have work areas and telephones with data ports for lap tops, and be accessible to hospitality suite. No RFP is available.
