The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for the design, development, and testing of a Naval aviation capability in cooperative countermeasures against infrared missile threats. The areas of technical investigation will be broad but with emphasis on electro-optic and infrared (EO/IR) systems and techniques for countering infrared missile treats. Technical specifications will be included in the solicitation. NRL anticipates awarding a CPFF Level-of-Effort type contract for approximately 110,000 hours over 48 months. This requirement is a total 100% small business set aside under SIC code 8711 at the $20.0M business size level. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
