B -- CONDUCT THE NATIONAL IMMUNIZATION SURVEY (NIS) SOL 200-98-7012 POC Contact Point, Elisa Hillman, 301-436-7007, Contracting Officer, Ronald L. Atherholt The contractor shall conduct, for a five-year period, annual and quarterly surveys among all 50 states and up to 35 sub-state areas across the United States, via a random digit dialing survey (RDD), using computer-assisted telephone interviewing (CATI) procedures and questionnaires based on the 1998 National Immunization Survey (and where appropriate the 1998 National Health Interview Survey Immunization Section), and including a mail follow-up survey of reported immunization providers patterned after the National Immunization Survey's Provider Record Check (PRC) and the National Health Interview Survey's National Immunization Provider Record Check Study (NIPRCS). Data collection must begin in early January 1999. The delivery of a clean, weighted, and documented computer data file for data collected between January and March 1999 will be required by August 1999. The estimated release date for this RFP is approximately 30 days after the date of this publication and the closing date will be approximately45 days after issue date.
