replacement of all existing pipes, pumps and valves at the main pump
station, Thule Air Base, Greenland. In addition, upgrade and modify the
main pump station to include the installation of a new motor-operated
valve in the tank filling lines to allow the level in the storage tanks
to be remotely controlled. One new pump and one diesel driven fire
booster pump are also to be installed and preparation for a fire
hydrant is to be made. The award will be a Firm Fixed Price contract.
Magnitude: $250,000 -- $500,000. The anticipated performance period is
between July 1998 through 15 December 1998. All responsible sources
may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered. The
summer at Thule Air Base is extremely short and shipment of materials
can only take place in June/July. Special Note: All discussion leading
to contract award shall take place at the Contracting Office located in
the Embassy of the United States of America, Copenhagen, Denmark. All
parties responding to this synopsis and any costs incurred as a result
of subsequent discussions prior to award of contract are the sole
responsibility of the interested parties. Interested parties can obtain
