The Social Security Administration intends to negotiate with Gaegler Phillipsburg Service, Inc. on a sole-source basis for preventive and on-call maintenance service for one Bell and Howell Mailstar 500 Automated Electronic Inserting Mailing System, Model C8 located at the Social Security Administration's Security West Building, 1500 Woodlawn Drive, Baltimore, Maryland 21241. Service is to include all labor, documentation, repair parts, maintenance supplies, tools, test equipment, transportation and other related services. A technician must be onsite within four (4) working hours following a service call. The period of performance shall be for a nine month period being September 29, 1998 through June 30, 1999, plus three one year option years if exercised. Gaegler Phillipsburg Service, Inc. is the only known authorized service agent in the Baltimore area for Bell and Howell Phillipsburg Company. Interested parties must respond to this notice within 15 calendar days from the date of this publication. When responding to this solicitation, respondents should refer to SSA-RFQ-98-3476.
