SOL RFP S-9800009 DUE 033198 POC Mary Ann Bettencourt, Contract Specialist (202)418-0932 The Federal Communications Commission intends to issue an RFP for on-site, preventative and remedial maintenance for FCC Altos equipment and technical support services. The equipment to be maintained is located in Washington, DC and 35 remote sites within continental United States, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Hardware consists of Altos System Models 1000's and 5000's. The software consists of SCO UNIX, TCP/IP and NFS. The contractor will be required to respond to any problems within two hours and resolve problems within six hours. All offerors must presently be approved by Acer/Altos as a certified Acer/Altos maintenance provider and authorized to purchase manufacturer spare parts. Submission of proof of current ability to respond to all locations within the required time frame is required with your proposal. Firms believing they have the ability to fully meet the Government's requirements must respond in writing to this request within 20 days after publication of this notice.
