J -- DRYDOCK REPAIRS TO USCGC BOLLARD (WYTL 65614) SOL DTCG80-98-3FC779 DUE 031298 POC Contact Mr. Jerry Hendricks, Contract Specialist 757-628-4647 Provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform drydock repairs including, but not limited to, the following Minimum items: 1) Renew Sections of Full Round, 2) Renew Deck and Soft Patch Fasteners in STBD Fan Space, 3) Renew Crew Berthing and Main Hold Quick Acting Watertight Hatches, 4) 65' WYTL Watertight Hatch Replacement, 5) Remove, Inspect, and Reinstall Propeller Shaft, 6) Fabricate and Install Propeller Nut Seal Retainer, 7) Remove and Reinstall Propeller, 8) Clean and Test Main Diesel Engine Grid Cooler, 9) Relocate Grid Coolers for Both Ship Service diesel Generators, 10) Preserve the Transducer Hull Ring and Install the V850 Transducer, 11) Renew and Test Valves, 12) Clean and Inspect Diesel Fuel Tanks, 13) Overhaul Steering Gear System, 14) Remove, Inspect and Reinstall Rudder, 15) Renew Sewage Piping, 16) Preserve Lazarette, 17) Preserve Forepeak, 18) Clean and Inspect Sewage and Grey Water Collection and Holding Tank, 19) Renew Head Deck Covering, 20) Provide Temporary Messing, 21) Provide Temporary Berthing, 22) Provide Temporary Logistics, and 23) Routine Drydocking. Vessel availability schedule is 04 May 98 for 35 days. Vessel's homeport is New Haven, CT. Vessel's availability is for 35 days. The place of performance will be geographically restricted. No open water transits. Restricted to the protected waters of the Cutter's assigned area of operation which is Woods Hole, Mass., to New York City, New York. There will be a non-refundable charge of $100.00 required in the form of a certified check or money order payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. All other referenced documents are available for viewing at 300 East Main Street, Suite 600, Norfolk, Va. Funds are available for this procurement. The proposed contract listed here is a part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Plans and specifications will be issued on or after 09 February 1998.
