Main Hold Quick Acting Watertight Hatches, 4) 65' WYTL Watertight
Hatch Replacement, 5) Remove, Inspect, and Reinstall Propeller Shaft,
6) Fabricate and Install Propeller Nut Seal Retainer, 7) Remove and
Reinstall Propeller, 8) Clean and Test Main Diesel Engine Grid Cooler,
9) Relocate Grid Coolers for Both Ship Service diesel Generators, 10)
Preserve the Transducer Hull Ring and Install the V850 Transducer, 11)
Renew and Test Valves, 12) Clean and Inspect Diesel Fuel Tanks, 13)
Overhaul Steering Gear System, 14) Remove, Inspect and Reinstall

10) Renew Rudder Bearings, 11) Preserve Underwater Body, 12) Preserve
Sewage and Grey Water Collection and Holding Tank, 13) Renew Corrosion
preventive Zinc Anodes, 14) Provide Additional Temporary Messing, 15)
Provide Additional Temporary Berthing, 16) Ultrasonic Testing, and 17)
Provide Additional Temporary Logistics. Vessel availability schedule is
04 May 98 for 35 days. Vessel's homeport is New Haven, CT. Vessel's
availability is for 35 days. The place of performance will be
geographically restricted. No open water transits. Restricted to the
protected waters of the Cutter's assigned area of operation which is
Woods Hole, Mass., to New York City, New York. There will be a
non-refundable charge of $100.00 required in the form of a certified
check or money order payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested
drawings. All other referenced documents are available for viewing at
300 East Main Street, Suite 600, Norfolk, Va. Funds are available for
this procurement. The proposed contract listed here is a part of the
Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Plans and
specifications will be issued on or after 09 February 1998. All
responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the
