Ella Rea Watters Q-Professional services of Radiation Oncology
Physicist, must have a Masters or Doctoral degree in Medical Physics
(preference for Ph.D. with certification by the American Board of
Radiology or equivalent) must be a graduate of an AAPM educational
program for Medical Physicists; and with at least ten years working
experience in a clinical setting. Expertise in technology assessment
and acquisition, QA, QC performance programs; one-time or special
projects, patient chart checking, calibration procedures, acceptance
testing of radiation machines and auxiliary equipment. Competent in
dosimetry of X-ray, Gamma ray, and Electron beam techniques,
brachytherapy techniques, and N.R.C. compliance programs, and the use
of simulators and treatment planning system. Primarily
clinical-individual patient dosimetry to be the highest priority. Full
supplemental and backup coverage by the day, in all aspects of
Radiation Oncology Physics. One-site one day per week; and to be
available by appointment. Must be on the list of State of California
Department of Health (Bureau of Radiological Health) approved
Physicists. Clinic hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., one day/week. Can
be established by mutual convenience. The Government's intent is to
award for base year with two one-year options. Requests for copies of
