USAID contemplates that its printing needs for the next 24 months will total approximately $400,000 and may award one contract for $400,000 or two contracts at $200,000 each with a minimum contract amount of $10,000. The contractor must have sufficient storage facilities and equipment including layout, composition, and make-ready facilities, offset photographic equipment, offset presses, and bindery equipment. The contract will cover full services. Delivery orders may be issued for the printing of forms, pamphlets, booklets, and many miscellaneous documents. The contractor will be required to pick up all copy from USAID's facility located at 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. The contractor must have a printing facility within a 50 mile radius of zero milestone, Washington, D.C. It is estimated that an IFB will be issued on orabout February 18, 1998 with a closing date of March 18, 1998. The preferred method of distribution of USAID procurement information is via the Internet or by request of a solicitation on a 3.5" floppy disk (WordPerfect 5.1/5.2 format).
