Amendment No2 is issued to reflect the following changes:The Panama Canal Commission (PCC) will seek proposals for ocean and intermodal transportation under liner terms from vessel operating common/contract carriers (U.S flags and up to 50% Non-U.S. flags) of less than shipload lots. This will be a requirement type contract for one year with an option to be extended for an additional year. The contract includes rates for loading and discharging for New Orleans, Lousiana and the Republic of Panama to be used in combination with Free In and Out (FIO) and Liner Term service for carriage of cargo in [less than eightt (8) feet in height and/or width; not more than 20,000 pounds in weight; and, not more than thirty nine (39) feet in lenght} in carrier furished containers/flatbeds; and, movement of vehicles.
