This project provides for modification of existing doors in hangar 8, Thule AB, Greenland to permit the doors to close tightly around the body of a C-17 aircraft while leaving the tail outside the hangar. The award will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. Magnitude: $250,000 -- $500,000. The anticipated performance period is between July 1998 through 15 September 1998. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered. The summer at Thule Air Base is extremely short and shipment of materials can only take place in June/July.
