This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The only approved sources for this solicitation are Allison Engine Co., Indianapolis, IN. FSCM: 63005 and Westport Dev & Mfg Co., Orange, CT. FSCM: 96429. Solicitation N00383-98MPZ-5081 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Contract line item 0001AA is for 195 EA of Switch Fuel Filter (NSN 5930009657111RW, Allison P/N 6827995 or Westport P/N CG12313). Size/Dimensions: Approximately 2 1/2" long x 1 1/4" OD, 1 pole connector; Form/Fit/Function Description: This switch completes an electrical circuit which causes the fuel pump light to come on and off. This action is completed when pressures of 150 psig are obtained. This is a single throw, normally closed connector.; Predominant Material of Manufacture: overall steel. Material is to be delivered to Naval Supply Center (N68836) as follows: 195 EA -170 days after receipt of order (ARO). Acceptance and FOB are at origin. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items also applies to this acquisition. Qualifications requirements are in accordance with Commercial procedures.
