The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is negotiating a noncompetitive purchase order with Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) for the placement of this work at the Center for Nuclear Waste Regulatory Analyses (CNWRA), a division of SwRI and the NRC's Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC). The work will involve technical assistance to the NRC in the review of the Paducah Seismic Hazard sSudy. The proposed period of performance is approximately six months. This action is being negotiated on a noncompetitive basis with SwRI to maintain essential capabilities at the CNWRA (See FAR 6.302-3(b)(2)).
