Guilfoil, Contract Specialist, Department of Energy Office of Headquarters Procurement Services The U.S. Department of Energy will award a cost based, level of effort contract to Bechtel Petroleum Operations, Inc. (BPOI) to provide Technical, Financial, and Administrative Support Services to provide for close-out requirements of DOE Contract DE-AC01-85FE60520. Under Contract DE-AC01-98FE65178 BPOI will provide close-out and post closing support to DOE in the completion of divestment/privatization activities concerning Naval Petroleum Reserve Numbered 1. BPOI is currently performing oil field operation services under DOE Management and Operating Contract DE-AC01-85FE60520, which instrument will be terminated for convenience of the government on the closing date of sale for NPR-1 as directed by the Defense Authorization Act of 1996, P.L. 104-106 on or about February 2, 1998.
