R -- SUPPORT FOR DISTANCE BASED LEARNING USING VIDEOCONFERENCING SOL HRSA-98-BHPR-A219972 DUE 020998 POC Aileen Broider-301-443-5231 The Health Resources and Services Administration intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with the University of Minnesota, Department of Family Practice, 10 Church Street, Minneapolis, MN 55455. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purpose of this procurement is to provide support for the distance based learning and evaluator technical assistance and site visits: preconference, conference and postconference complements to the 1998 National Conference on Models That Work: The Nuts and Bolts of Faculty Development. The contractor shall: develop a workplan; provide preconference, conference and postconference technical assistance; provide preconference videoconferencing and videotapes; and provide progress reports and a final report. The University of Minnesota, Department of Family Practice is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services. The period of performance is eighteen months.
