The work to be performed under this solicitation consists of: installation of stoplog sections; dewatering of the work area; repair of three 25'8" x 40' fixed wheel gates and guides; surface preparation and painting of the three 25'8" x 40' fixed wheel gates; and removal and placement in storage of the stoplog sections. The estimated price range of the work is $250,001 to $500,000. The work is located at Alcova Dam, approximately 32 miles southwest of Casper, Wyoming, in Natrona County. Solicitation packages ar anticipated to be available February 6, 1998. The bid opening is tentatively scheduled for march 10, 1998, at the Bureau of Reclamation, Wyoming Area Office 705 Pendell Boulevard, Mills, Wyoming. The contract is to be completed by September 4, 1998. There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitation; additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 each.
