Work includes interior partitions, finishes, communications equipment and associated plumbing, mechanical and electrical modifications. It is anticipated that asbestos insulation material will be encountered on plumbing piping and fittings as well as vinyl asbestos floor tile. Estimated cost of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. SIC code is 1711. The construction completion date shall be no later than 19 June 1998. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are available under the DOT Short-term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The max. line of credit is $500,000.
