General construction of seven projects to repair flood damage and other damage to pedestrian bridges at Great Falls and to portions of the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal and Towpath. The work includes repairing and repainting concrete bridges with steel railings; removal of trees and other vegetation; removal of fallen trees, timber and debris; consolidation grouting of stone masonry walls; repairing damaged portions of stone masonry walls by chinking, pointing, grouting, replacing fallen stone and providing new stone masonry. The projects are located at sites along the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park. Estimated magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. All responsible sources amy submit a bid which will be considered. (0022)
