This is a SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCUREMENT under $100,000.00 and PLAN HOLDERS LIST WILL NOT BE PROVIDED. The requirement is solicited as an unrestricted procurement. The SIC is 1542, General Contractors -- Nonresidential Buildings, Other Than Industrial Buildings and Warehouses -- $17 Million. The following is a brief description of the work to be performed: Demo wall and construct a new wall between the office #3 and the machine shop, remove shelving units, remove office furniture and reinstall; paint interior and exterior windows; install carpet and vinyl cove base, install drop ceiling; remove A/C wall units, relocate exhaust fan, remove radiators and cap off lines, remove and cap off air-lines, secure sprinkler system and remove short sprinkler pipe to heads; install window A/C units with heat, extend spinkler heads below the drop ceiling; remove existing lights and install lighting, install receptacles, provide electrical power to A/C units, install 3-way light switches, and install telephone raceways. Hanger 140 is located on Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida . As identified in the general paragraphs section of the solicitation, quoters are required to provide, along with their quote, references of like work. The solicitation package is scheduled to be issued on or about February 06, 1998. A site visit will be held on February 11, 1998 at 2:00 PM. All interested contractors are to meet at Building 103, Naval Air Station Jacksonville, FL. All quotes are due by 4:00 PM, February 17, 1998.
