The new issuance date for solicitations to be mailed is January 26, 1998. The new Pre-Proposal conference date is February 11, 1998, Rm 3030, 30th Fl, 26 Federal Plaza, NY, NY. The new Receipt for Proposals date is February 24, 1998. These are definite dates and there will be no more extensions. Just a little history about this solicitation. This is a Multiple award Indefinite Quantity Asbestos Removal contract for five years. Contractors are to provide all labor, materials, supervision, equipment and tools necessary to perform an Indefinite Quantity Asbestos Removal contract. This solicitation is for asbestos services for construction projects ranging in dollar value from $2,500.00 to $250,000.00. The estimated cost for asbestos projects awarded under the resulting contract for a given year is approximately $500,000.00. This procurement is being conducted using the Source Selection Procedures. The award will be based on the lowest price technically acceptable offer after final evaluation of the technical factors and consideration of the revised proposals. The contract resulting from this solicitation will be a multiple award contract. It is estimated that award will be made to up to three(3) offerors meeting the criteria outlined in the solicitation.
