Directorate of Contracting, Kirtland AFB, New Mexico is seeking
potential sources to provide BRADLEY FIGHTING VEHICLE SYSTEM (BFVS)
SEMICONDUCTORS. The technical Point of Contact is Mr. Gregory M. Frye,
USA BCPO, (505)-846-8494, extension 23; Contracting Officer, Ms. Liz
Sanchez, AFRL PRS/PKOS (505) 846-4877 or the Contract Specialist, Ms.
Katherine Weber, AFRL PRS/PKOS (505) 846-6284. The BFVS carries a DX
rating of D4 for all BFVS program activities. The items needed are
Semiconductors, Intel P/N MG80486DX-33 PGA 168, or equal, quantity 612
each. Semiconductors, Intel part number MC28F008-10, or equal,
quantity 1224 each. Items must meet Mil Standard 883 requirements.
Potential Offerors must be able to successfully demonstrate the
capability to delivery these components in the required quantities and
meet the delivery time of twenty (20) weeks from date of award.
Potential Offerors must be able to transfer the manufacturuers warranty
to the Government and provide proof that the warranty is transferable.
The product will be delivered to White Sands Missile Range,
STEWS-ET-AS, Bldg 90121, WSMR, NM 88002-5158. Firms responding must
submit technical documentation (i.e. technical literature, brochures
etc) for these particular semiconductors. The technical documentation
should provide sufficient technical data in order for the project
office to determine whether the product meets the required technical
specifications as stated above. Potential Offerors must be able to
successfully demonstrate the capability to deliver these components in
the required quantities. In addition, firms responding should indicate
if they are a Small Business, a Socially and Economically Disadvantaged
Business, an 8(a) qualified business, or Woman-owned Business. For the
purposes of being considered a small business the following applies:
SIC Code 3674, Size Standard: 500 Employees. The Government reserves
the right to set this acquisition aside for Small Business, SBA 8(a)
Program, Historically Black Colleges or Universities (HBCU) or Minority
Institutions (MI) based upon known sources and /or responses to this
synopsis. Firms responding should indicate whether they fall into any
of these categories. Organizations may express their interest in
writing no later than 15 calendar days after publication of this
announcement. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. Offerors
response should include which components they may bid against and a
brief description of their ability to provide these components, how the
offeror intends to acquire the components, as well as delivery times
