Laboratory (PPPL), a US DOE Prime Contractor will issue on 12 February
1998 RFB 98-028F for a Subcontractor to furnish labor, supervision,
equipment and materials to connect the Coil System for the National
Spherical Torus Experiment (NSTX) Project to existing local power
supplies, at PPPL's James Forrestal Campus, US Route 1 North,
Plainsboro, NJ. This work, to be performed during the period April
through mid-July 1998, includes the installation of a cable tray and
raceway system, per PPPL Specification and Drawings, over an
approximate 200 foot run between two floor levels; the installing of 58
PPPL furnished 1-C 1000 kcmil, 5kV, shielded power cables, three
control cables and one fiber-optic cable into the cable tray system;
and the termination of all cables at both ends. The Davis-Bacon Act
will apply to this work. Personnel performing this work will be
required to take 8 hours of radiation safety training. If you are
