States which are to be covered by this requirement include: New Mexico, Kansas, Nebraska, Texas, Montana, Utah, California, Arizona, Nevada, Kentucky, Indiana, Missouri, Florida, and Alabama. The items to be acquired under this solicitation include smocks, frocks, butcher pants, mats, rugs, coats, shirts and trousers. Individual requirements by commissary will be specified in the solicitation. The contractor shall be required to provide the items in a variety of mens' and womens' sizes. The contractor shall be required to pick up from each store a minimum of once each week all soiled garments/mats and drop off clean replacement garments/mats at that time. The period of performance will be 1 July 1998 through 30 June 1999 and includes two (2) one-year option periods. There is a possibility for multiple awards. The Standard Industrial Classification Number is 7213 and the business size standard is 10 milion. This acquisition will be unrestricted.
