This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This Solicitation Number, MDA414-98-T-1161 is issued as a Request for Quotation. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular #90-45 final rule effective 1/1/97. LI2: Jason IX Satellite Transmission for the United Kingdom for Pan Am Sat (PAS) Alpha Lyrcacom to provide the following space segment and transmission per: +downlink of U.S. Domestic Jason IX Program from Galaxy 7 Ku-Band TR.23v at 91 deg.w via signal b-mac.+ Encoding/encrypton of signal using digicypher MCP transmission of signal via PAS 1 satellite to DoDEA/RAF Pamam SAT Agent. +Supply digictpher MCPC receiver with NTS output to location for reception of test transmissions 10 March-14 March and broadcasts 16 March-27 March 1998, daily from 2:00PM-10:30PM GMT, except March 22. (vii) Delivery period of subscription is 10 March-27 March 1998, with acceptance FOB destination. (viii) FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial (Oct 95) is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. (x) Offers shall include a complete copy of the provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its quotation.
