Work includes but is not limited to demolition and site improvements which include addition and refurbishment of perimeter fence and secure entries with guard station and control gates; realignment of roads for entry-ways, addition and adjustment of existing parking; upgrade of parking area lighting and addition of CCTV cameras; limited construction and repair work for the existing building including installation of access control devices, installation of fragmentation film to exterior glazing, creation of Receipts and Control Room, and erection of entryway for conference area. Estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This project is issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is unrestricted (Open to both large and small business). The SIC Code is 1542 with a small business size standard of $17 Mil. This procurement is being made in accordance with Two-step sealed bidding procedures. Step one to be issued on or about 2/10/98 consist of submission of a technical proposal to determine acceptability of qualification offered. Technical proposals will include the offerors experience and reputation in carrying out similar work. The evaluation criteria will be based on 1. Experience and past performance on similar projects; and 2. Qualification of key personnel of the offerors project team. No pricing is involved. Estimated closing date for step one is 3/12/98. All offerors meeting the technical qualifications will be allowed to proceed to step two, the submission of sealed priced bids.
