The work will include the following approximate quantities: stockpiling approx. 1,600 ton of Riprap and approx. 800 ton of spalls at specified location(s) near Fort Thompson, South Dakota. Materials must meet weight, composition, and specification requirements. The Contractor shall perform testing and sampling to ensure quality control in accordance with said specifications. The successful contractor will be responsible for operating all quarries and other material sources, and for conditioning the area after operations are complete in accordance with all the applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. The Contractor will be responsible for any and all fees, taxes, permits and/or rights-of-way needed to deliver materials to the designated location and these expenses will be inclusive to the bid price. Delivery will be required w/I 60 days from contract award or by 31July 1998, whichever is earlier. Solicitations will be issued o/a 12 March 1998.
